March Meeting Announcement

Our next meeting will be Thursday, March 18th. We are looking forward to this meeting which will feature an update on the San Francisco-Oakland Self Anchored Suspension (SAS) Bridge Superstructure Project.

The presentation will be from American Bridge/Fluor Enterprises, the joint venture building the suspension tower. The speakers are Brian Peterson, Operations Manager and Louis Wehar, Assistant Operations Manager. This promises to be a very interesting and informative program that you won’t want to miss!!

Dinner will be at Francesco’s, 8520 Pardee Drive at Hegenberger Road, Oakland. Enjoy a delicious gourmet dinner of your choice of Osso Bucco or Pitrale Sole. You also get pasta, vegetables and a Caesar Salad with your meal and, of course, dessert. For reservations  call Gonzalo at DelGavio’s 510-523-3100 or e-mail at Gonz58@aol.com , no later than MONDAY, March 15th with your reservations.   Remember, to keep our costs of the dinners down we need an accurate count of people so please don’t overlook this especially if you are bringing guests.  The cost is still $35.00 per person and we need accurate reservations.  Don’t forget, if you bring in a new dues paying member, you get a complimentary dinner.

Board of Governor’s Meeting to start a 5:00 pm.  Social Hour will start at 6 pm with dinner at 7 pm.  We look forward to seeing you there.

The Society is encouraging everyone to receive the SFPE monthly meeting notices and other news via email.  Please assist us with providing your current email address by forwarding it to:  sfpenews@yahoo.com.  Thank you.”
